Product Care & Wash Care

Our garments are made using natural fabrics and dyes that may evolve beautifully with time and wear.
Proper care will help maintain the look, fit, and longevity of your garment.

General Care Instructions

• Always read the wash care label attached to the garment before washing.
  
• Wash dark and light colours separately.
  
• Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, stain removers, or strong chemicals.
  
• Do not wring garments excessively.
  
• Dry garments in shade and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  
• Slight shrinkage, softening, fading, or texture changes may occur with natural fabrics and are considered normal characteristics of the fabric.

Indigo & Denim Garments

Indigo-dyed and denim garments naturally release excess dye during the initial washes.

• Wash separately for the first few washes.
  
• Do not wash with light-coloured garments.
  
• Turn the garment inside out before washing.
  
• Use cold water and mild detergent.
  
• Avoid soaking for extended periods.
  
• Colour fading and development of unique wear patterns are natural characteristics of indigo and denim fabrics and are not considered manufacturing defects.
  

Please note that indigo dye may transfer onto lighter fabrics, upholstery, footwear, bags, and other surfaces, especially when new.

Linen Garments

Linen is a natural fibre known for its breathability, comfort, and relaxed appearance.

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle using cold water.
  
• Use mild detergent only.
  
• Do not bleach.
  
• Remove promptly after washing and reshape while damp.
  
• Dry in shade.
  
• Warm ironing may be required to remove wrinkles.
  
• Natural creasing and wrinkling are inherent characteristics of linen and should not be considered defects.

Over time, linen becomes softer and more comfortable with repeated wear and washing.

Cotton Garments

Cotton is a natural fabric that offers comfort and durability when properly cared for.

• Wash in cold or lukewarm water.
  
• Use mild detergent.
  
• Separate dark and light colours.
  
• Avoid excessive heat during washing or drying.
  
• Tumble dry on low heat or line dry in shade.
  
• Warm iron if required.

Minor shrinkage may occur after the first wash, particularly in garments made from 100% natural cotton.

Handcrafted & Naturally Dyed Products

Certain garments may feature handcrafted finishes, garment washes, natural dyes, or artisanal techniques.

• Slight colour variations, texture differences, and irregularities are part of the garment's unique character.
  
• These variations are not defects and should be expected as part of the handcrafted process.
